 Welcome to Costa Rica! For your added comfort, once you have passed immigration and customs and stepped out of the airport doors, you will have one of our representatives waiting for you outside with a sign with your name on it. He will drive you to your hotel in San José. 

 San José, the capital city surrounded by the mountainous scenarios of the central valley, with a privileged climate full of culture. It is undoubtedly the place where the cultural and gastronomic options of the country converge. It will be enough to tour the boulevard of the central avenue to meet the emblematic National Theater, museums, shopping malls, the colorful central market and enjoy the different gastronomic options, art exhibitions and cultural shows.

Rafting Pacuare III-IV

Pacuare is world famous for its sheer beauty. A true river gorge, it is flanked by steep, green walls. Here you enjoy the feeling of total isolation from urban life and the realness of being connected with nature. You see waterfalls cascade into the river from both sides as colorful, tropical birds fly right over your head. Amazing views of this virgin tropical rainforest area, appear before your eyes as you descend this true exploratory land. Wildlife is abundant, with sloths, toucans, parrots, coatis, morpho butterflies, and colorful frogs being common sights.

The white water is equally exciting. It is not an overly challenging river, but it has a lot of rapids, therefore giving you an adventure filled with lots of fun. The 18 mile one day run includes a total of 52 rapids. Few rivers in the world can offer you so many.

The first 4 miles consist of fun class II-III rapids which is a perfect time to test your new river skills and gain confidence in your team. Here you can find pockets of secondary growth forests that are extremely beautiful. After about 40 minutes we will enter the famous Pacuare River Gorge, which is 5 miles of some of the best white water rafting Costa Rica has to offer. You will also see the Huacas waterfall, a 150-foot dramatic drop into the river.

After the gorge the river opens up to a 5-mile stretch on the Valle del Pacuare, where the river has a different character. It is wide open, which gives you the opportunity to rest a bit and take the opportunity to do some wildlife spotting. The forest remains just as lush, and the rapids just as fun.

Arenal / La Fortuna

The Northern Plains of Costa Rica showcase some very scenic countryside towns. Small agriculture communities and cattle ranches cover rolling hills and deep valleys. The plains, rainforests, and rivers make the north central a must-see in any Costa Rica program.  The main attraction is the iconic Arenal Volcano. The Arenal Volcano area is Costa Rica’s premier region of exploration and excitement: Arenal is synonymous to adventure and Eco-discovery, where you can embark in a wide variety of activities. Enjoy the thrill of whitewater rafting or canyoning, or combine adventure with ecological discovery in a canopy tour. Hike the volcano or explore the rainforest strolling through hanging bridges. Feel transformed by the beauty and variety of our wildlife and tropical jungle. Get ready for a life-changing adventure!

The Ultimate Waterfall Rappel

You will be picked up at your hotel in  La Fortuna area, and take you on an exciting 4x4 ride on a mountain road to our first ranch house. We put your gear on, give you a short safety and rappelling explanation and then a short trek on a beautiful rainforest trail to the first waterfall rappel where you will descend into to canyon! Our 5 rappels range in heights of 13 mtrs (25 ft ) to 55 mtrs (165 ft). Our Monkey Drop Zip Line is approx. 25 mtrs (82 ft) long.

After rappelling down the first waterfall you will climb up the side of the canyon wall, 10 mtrs (20 ft ), to a short trail. Then zip line across the canyon and rappel down from the cable 25 mtrs (82 ft) to the canyon floor again. Then continue on short trails from waterfall to waterfall through the canyon, it's like being in a National Rainforest Park!

Then a short trek out of the canyon to the second ranch house where you meet up with the 4x4 vehicles and then back to our base offices for a delicious Costa Rican style lunch just outside La Fortuna with a view of the famous Arenal Volcano.

We have beautiful installations with changing rooms, towels, and hot showers. You can also stroll through our organic tropical gardens and spot birds and tropical plants and flowers everywhere. We also grow as much as we can for your lunch on our land, all organic of course! Make sure to check out the "Earth Hut" where we have earthworms, compost, compost tea, and a station where we make our own microorganisms.

This is the perfect tour for ATV lovers. Transfer to Conchal

Playa Conchal is among the most popular beaches of Costa Rica which has got a lot of international attention and is a perfect example of being in the heart of the Guanacaste's "Gold Coast". Playa Conchal is a gorgeous stretch of palm-backed sea and sand. The name comes from the billions of conchas (shells) that wash up on the beach, and are gradually crushed into coarse sand. The shallows drift from an intense turquoise to sea-foam green deeper out – a rarity on the Pacific coast. If you have snorkeling gear, this is the place to use it. The further south you stroll, the wider, sweeter and more spectacular the beach becomes. 

You will check into your All inclusive Resort where you can enjoy the beautiful beach of Conchal, partake in a large selection of luxurious treatments at the in-house spa, or visit the stunning array of dining options.

Your tour will start aboard one of our Catamarans at the Flamingo Marina giving us access to some of the most beautiful isolated beaches and snorkel locations in Costa Rica. There you will have the opportunity to experience marine wildlife such as: dolphins, whales, sea turtles, tropical fish, and manta rays. Sailing along the coastline will give you a completely different view of Costa Rica and our professional and friendly crew will make your experience on board a memorable one, serving you refreshments throughout the cruise.  After an amazing time of absolute highlights of beautiful Costa Rica, it is time to return home 

it's  approx. 1.5 hrs. to get from Conchal to Liberia Airport by land. Once at the International Airport you must check in at least 3 hours prior to your departure time. We recommend you stay the night in Liberia prior to your departure date if you have an early departure time. 

The San Jose Hotel is located in the heart of San Jose and is within walking distance of the city's top attractions. Accommodation is available in stylish guest rooms which feature modern amenities including complimentary Wi-Fi, minifridge, and a high definition TV. The in-house restaurant serves a combination of local and international cuisine while the 5th floor piano bar specialises in premium whiskey and gin from around the world.
